Earl Forrest Rose (September 23, 1926 - May 1, 2012) was the Dallas County, Texas medical examiner when John F. Kennedy was shot.[1] He performed autopsies on Lee Harvey Oswald and Jack Ruby, but most critically, stepped aside from performing an autopsy on Kennedy's body at the insistence of Jacqueline Kennedy and presidential aides.
