The Flamingo Express is a phrase coined by the Drug Enforcement Administration as a reference to the illegal trade of prescription pills whose origins are from the state of Florida. Florida Gov. Rick Scott, stating there is no funding, has recently proposed to repeal the yet to be enacted Florida drug trafficking law and monitoring system that was targeted to combat the Flamingo Express over the objections of New York state senator Chuck Schumer and 3 other senators .
