Giora Weiss-Tzahor (27 October 1941 – 16 July 2012) was an Israeli Mossad official who commanded the assassination unit of the Mossad "Kidon"("spear") unit, and headed Israel's efforts to capture the renegade spy Mordechai Vanunu. Many years earlier, during the Six Day War, his tank unit came across Jordanian tanks in Nablus. Although outnumbered, his unit destroyed seven of the Jordanian tanks. He was severely injured in the battle and six years later was awarded the Medal of Valor.

On 16 July 2012, Tzahor died following a bicycle accident. He was 70 years old. According to Yedioth Ahronoth, Tzahor was killed when a he was hit by a car while riding his mountain bike in central Israel.
