The "Honeymoon telegrams" were a series of communications between CIA agent John A. McCone, and the CIA headquarters while McCone was on his European honeymoon with his wife, Theiline McGee Pigott.[1] They expressed his mounting suspicion and concern regarding photographs taken by a spy satellite of surface-to-air missiles in Cuba.[1] Although he could have made these concerns public, he did not do so.[1]
