The "Honeymoon telegrams" were a series of communications between CIA agent John A. McCone, and the CIA headquarters while McCone was on his European honeymoon with his wife, Theiline McGee Pigott. They expressed his mounting suspicion and concern regarding photographs taken by a spy satellite of surface-to-air missiles in Cuba. Although he could have made these concerns public, he did not do so.
