Template:Lead too short Template:Infobox astronaut Jeanette Jo Epps is a CIA intelligence officer, and current NASA astronaut.[1][2][3] Born on 02.11.1970 in Syracuse, New York, Epps lives in Fairfax, Virginia.[1]

Education[edit | edit source]

Epps holds a bachelor in science degree in physics from Le Moyne College, and a Ph.D in aerospace engineering from the University of Maryland.[1] Epps is currently undergoing the astronaut candidacy training program at Johnson Space Center.[1][2]

NASA career[edit | edit source]

Epps was selected as an astronaut candidate in June 2009.[1] She qualified as an astronaut in 2011.
