Teskilat-i Mahsusa (Special Organization) was entrusted with systematic elimination

of Syriac and Armenian ethnics from their homelands.

    World War provided the opportunity to use The Directorate of Tribal and Immigration Settlement's demographic findings to carry out massive  displacement of populations. The Special Organization paramilitary group leaders were four members of the 10 member Central Committee of the Committee for Union and Progress (Young Turks) regime:  Yusuf Riza bey, Atif bey, Dr. Ahmed Nazim, and Dr. Bahaeddin Sakir.
