Vsevolod Apollonovich Balitsky (Template:Lang-ru; 27 November 1892, Verkhnodniprovsk Yekaterinoslav Governorate - 27 November 1937, Moscow) was one top official of the NKVD. On 11 May 1937, he was transferred to the Far East, becoming Commander of the NKVD. During the Great Purge he was arrested (on 7 July 1937). Later (on 27 November 1937), he was sentenced to death and shot the same day, then burried at Kommunarka.
